Sign = match(month, day) where startDate(Sign) ≤ (month, day) ≤ endDate(Sign)

For signs that wrap across the New Year — Capricorn spans December 22 through January 19 — the calculator checks both December and January date components separately to correctly handle the year-end wraparound.
